Who else is delighted to have made it into February! After what felt like the longest month, February should be nice and short.
Unlike December, January has been really cold, a little wet and it even snowed for a day or so! My fashion totally reflects this cold weather as you will see lots of coats, hats and scarves along with cosy jumpers and more.
Ok so this isn’t a full outfit, but I have been living in my rose gold Nike Cortez and I couldn’t resist snapping them with my very typical all black look.
A break from the usual all black with a splash of grey ;). This is the super cosy jumper dress I picked up in the Missguided sale for €15. It is now sold out but I will link something similar below.

Mother’s really do know best. I was a little hesitant about buying this leopard faux fur coat and my mum convinced me to get it. Thankfully I listened to her because it has updated my winter wardrobe effortlessly.
A very typical look for me, black on black on black. I think I need to ban myself from buying anymore all black items for a month or two, but I also feel put together and chic when I wear all black.
Mid January for me was all about cosy jumpers and giant blanket scarves that I could wrap up in. The cold weather and the dark days meant I didn’t quite care for style and really just wanted comfort.
OMG ALL BLACK?!?!?! Ok it is not unusual for me but I did mix and match textures. My woven fringe coatigan doesn’t get many outings because it really suits that nice in between weather, but one mild day in January suited it perfectly.
NOT WEARING BLACK JEANS?!?!? Ok I did it, I dug out a pair of khaki jeans.. also all of my black jeans were in the wash along with half of my leggings so I didn’t have too much of a choice.
Ok along with the all black ban, I possibly need a Zara shopping ban too!
Another chilly day, another giant scarf! This is totally my comfort zone, a denim shirt, black jeans and a biker jacket!
This faux fur jacket was one of the best Winter pieces I ever bought. It is from ASOS about 2 years ago and every year when I take it out I get so many lovely compliments. It is super cosy and works dress and casual.
I have this thing with sleeves! The Zara basics collection got a serious upgrade with these bell sleeve jumpers in stock now. Only €17.95!!!
I bought this cape coat over Christmas from the Missguided sale and it was sitting in my wardrobe ever since. Although I love it, the sleeveless aspect is not super practical for this time of year… that is until I got this frill sleeve jumper from Zara. I guarantee you will be seeing me in this jumper a lot in the coming months, and matched with this gorgeous coat. I wore this to the Debenhams Spring/Summer show last night and received compliments from just about everyone (including a fashion editor) on my sleeves.
I am really starting to love these monthly style roundups as it makes me realise I repeat all black far too often and I am hoping it encourages me to introduce a little more colour. I also think it is great to realise what pieces I really enjoy and get a lot of wear out of, like my Hollister jeans that appear in almost every look! Side note, although they are the same jeans, I own multiple pairs as my sister worked there and I used to get discount, although full price they are about €50 which I still think is great value!
Plan for February is to wear more colour and buy less Zara, but I am not off to the best start as I am currently wearing all black including the Zara bell sleeve jumper from the second last picture. Do you have any style resolutions? Let me know in the comments below!
