This Summer I did not get a chance to go away, however I am so fair that even when I do get a little bit of sunshine I usually just go a little red! Rather than chasing the sun, I now chase down fake tans, trying to find the best value, best colour and easiest application.
This month I am taking a look at Tantastic medium tanning lotion, which I was kindly gifted. The bottle is empty now, so I have really been putting this lotion to the test and I am genuinely very impressed.
Highly Moisturising, tanning lotion formula contains Isopentyldiol plus natural Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Pro-Vitamin B5 to nourish, soothe and condition the skin
- MITT INCLUDED
- Simple to apply with an instant colour guide
- Fast-drying, non-sticky formulation
- Lasts up to 7 days
*The mitt I used to apply the tan below was not the mitt included. In general I prefer velvet mitts as I believe they are better for even tan application.
Before Tan: I wasn’t totally tan free, I had applied a layer of Tantastic almost a week before hand and it had faded quite evenly and I needed to top it up.
Application: The tan has a lovely caramel colour so application is really easy and you can spot any white areas simply.
Spot the difference: Tan applied to my right leg and nothing on my left. The guide colour is subtle and the tan dries quite quickly so you can head out with the tan on, but I wouldn’t recommend wearing your favourite white top!
Washed Off: I let the colour develop over night and rinsed the guide colour off in the morning. What was left is a lovely natural looking golden hued colour.
- I love the guide colour
- The final colour is natural looking
- The formula is moisturising
- The scent is soft and sweet
- Long lasting and fades evenly
- Great price point (£14.95 and free shipping)
I am quite impressed with this tan, I have been using it for about a month now and every time it has given me an even and natural looking tan without streaks.
Have you tried and tested Tantastic? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below.
