COS Autumn/Winter 16

Earlier this year I attended the Autumn/ Winer preview and the items I swooned over are finally now in store! I didn’t want to post about this gorgeous Winter fashion, as we were just gearing up for Summer, but now we can actually discuss wool coats and cosy knits.

First thing I would like to mention about this preview morning was the location: a random door on Camden Street that opened up to the most beautiful, modern and exciting home. Apparently the owners are architects which would make sense as they have used every inch of this space intelligently and beautifully.

Ok now back to the fashion. I am a big fan of COS, it is a great place to go for high quality classics, and you can find modern and quirky details that separate these pieces from other brands. The colours for this season were quite warm with lots of purples, greens and navy (although I tend to live in black and white!).

Keep scrolling to shop my top picks from COS for Autumn/ Winter.

Ok now to get to my favourite pieces, and a gorgeous capsule collection you could create this Autumn from COS.

My Top Picks for Autumn Winter:

COS CAMEL COAT

The Camel Coat: This is something I think everyone can keep in the wardrobe for Winter. I dress mine in all sorts of ways, wear it to work, wear it on a night out, dress it down with skinny jeans and runners… I think it is such a versatile piece when it fits well and made of good fabric. Shop here.

COS white shirt

The White Shirt: Everyone needs a classic white shirt in the wardrobe but this one has a gorgeous twist. Rather than a classic collar this shirt has an open front on a wide neck. A white shirt is so chic and goes with almost every look you can think of, making this shirt a fabulous investment. Shop here.

Pink COS Jumper Dress

The Jumper Dress: Winter is all about layering and this dress is a great piece to buy now, as it will see you through sunnier weather all the way to dark snowy days. Unlike a knit jumper dress, this is a cotton-jersey mix, meaning it is a little bit lighter. I would wear this now as pictured, and later in the year it would look gorgeous with a high neck long sleeve jumper underneath, a pair of tights and a pair of ankle boots. Shop here.

The Denim Skirt: Similar to the dress featured above, this is a great transitional piece that you can wear right now, styled just as pictured. As the weather changes I would add a cosy knit, thick tights and boots. I love A-line skirts as I find them so flattering. Shop here.

The Scarf/ Cape: Every winter I usually pick up a giant scarf as I find them so handy. Obviously I will be wearing them out and about with my big coat, but they are also so handy when sitting at home if you are a little chilly. I will have mine on at my desk in work too when I don’t have too much control over the temperature as I am in general a cold person. What I particularly like about this one is the roll neck feature, making sure you are extra cosy. Shop here.

The Wool Jumper: COS is known for gorgeous knit jumpers, but this one in particular stood out to me due to the peplum design. This is a very neat and fitted jumper, and I really love the woven skirt element that makes it perfect to wear to work and then after work drink scenarios. I really feel like this piece is something you would receive compliment on every time you wore it. Shop here.

COS felt cap

The Hat: This felt cap is really taking the ‘athleisure’ trend to the next level. We all need hats for Winter and sometimes you don’t want a beanie. I love caps but they can look super casual, where as this felt version is quite chic. Shop here.

So what do you think of the new collection from COS? I am totally in love, and I think all of these pieces are so versatile and great for layering this Winter.

Stay stylish,

Signature 1

My favourite transitional piece that I have purchased so far is the embroidered Zara dress. I have worn it 3 weeks in a row and you read all about it here.
