Dungaree Day | Outfit of the Day

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and took advantage of the beautiful weather we had in Ireland over the last couple of days.  On Saturday the sun was out and Conor and I decided to have a chill out day, grab some cider and food for a BBQ and lay out in his garden for the entire day.

It has been such a long time since I have been out in the sun, my skin is currently so white it has a blue hue to it! There was no way I was staying in while the weather was so gorgeous and I wanted to try to get a sun-kissed glow on my legs. (I do not tan, my skin just goes from whiter than white to a beige skin colour shade or else I burn).

Speaking of my skin, in the photos below I look like I have a tan, it is totally fake. On Saturday morning I applied a layer of He-Shi 1 hour rapid liquid tan and didn’t wash it off. This is my all time favourite tan and is so reliable, I always have a gorgeous colour in such a short period. A couple of hours later I applied an SPF 30 from Nivea, and that gave my skin a nice sheen.

Now onto the outfit! If you follow my blog you will know that I most of the clothes I own are black and leather, so on Saturday I was delighted when my sister Ria offered me a pair of short dungarees she just purchased in Abercrombie. She is so sweet that the tags were still on them, and she still wanted me to wear them! I love these dungarees, the shape is oversized and a little baggy like a boyfriend style, making them super comfortable.

I kept the rest of the look really simple with a white tank top and white runners. Take a look at the details, and shoppable links below.

Shout out to my lovely boyfriend Conor for taking my pictures!

My trusty floral embroidered bomber is never too far away! Shop here.

For my face I used The Body Shop SPF 30 face emulsion from the Vitamin E range, which I will be posting a full review on shortly (spoiler alert, it is pretty fabulous!) I use this SPF 30 daily, it is so important to protect you face!

I was testing out a new foundation, the Urban Decay One & Done. I was recently in Debenhams picking up some Urban Decay products and I got to bring home a tester of this new foundation. This one and done product is the combination of a foundation and moisturiser. It feels really lightweight, gives good coverage and also has SPF and a tonne of nourishing ingredients. This is a fabulous product to wear on a warm day when you want a nice coverage but don’t want to feel cakey.

That was my Saturday, I hope you had a great weekend too! Until next time,

Signature 1
