InstaGood February 2016

I am afraid 2016 may have peaked in February for me! The shortest month was the absolute sweetest with a trip to NYC! If you haven’t read about my long weekend in New York, you can see all of the details here.

I am sure the rest of the year will be pretty great, and I have some great plans for March, but I don’t know if anything can top the month I just had.

One of our favourite date nights is bowling! I usually kick Conor’s ass, but it had been so long that I totally lost my winning touch. I am usually not a competitive person, but bowling was the one sport/ activity that I was actually better at than Conor, so I think we need a rematch soon.

MARSHMALLOW LIFE ❤ My custom robe from is the softest thing ever! I live in dressing gowns, like I will be fully dressed and throw on my dressing gown over my clothes if it’s a little cold. These robes are amazing value- shop here.

Obligatory airport from where I stand pic! NYC here we come!

#1 Knicks Fan…. I really enjoyed watching the basketball game at Madison Square Garden, something ticked off the bucket list.

Central Park Selfie! Conor and I visited the park most days on our trip, the snow was just so pretty.

Another tick off the bucket list, we visited the America Museum of Natural History and I got to see a T-Rex, Titanosaur (the largest animal to ever walk the earth) and lots of other cool stuff.

Mirror moment in our hotel, the mirror in our room was so tiny so I always used the big one in the hall. Luckily no other guests ever caught me, because I would have DIED of awkwardness if I were spotted.

When was the last time it snowed in Ireland? Like properly snowed? Well this was the first time I was in snow since then and I loved it!

Conor and I stayed right by time square, so we got to enjoy this view everyday!

On Sunday in New York we had to do a big brunch! I was planning on getting eggs, but when the table next to us had pancakes I got serious food envy! So yum!

Another Central Park selfie, seriously we were there everyday except for the Friday we arrived. It was so peaceful and gorgeous and then we would walk 2 minutes and be greeted with the madness of 5th avenue.

I didn’t put this book down on the flight, except for when I would cry and have to go searching for a tissue. I 100% recommend ‘Asking for it‘ to everyone, especially young women.

Back to work, back to reality and coffee was an absolute essential.

Catching up with my great friend Liza, and we always split a chocolate brownie at Gotham!

Happy Valentine’s Day. My favourite red and pink lipsticks to mark the occasion.

Pre cinema selfie, Conor and I spent Valentine’s day at the cinema, as we had enjoyed our real date in New York the weekend before.

I was delighted to attend the Debenhams Spring Summer show in House. There were so many amazing looks on the night, but I can’t resist a black and white stripe!

Although it was the Spring/ Summer show, the weather was full on Winter. I wore my Brave Soul cream roll neck, faux fur scarf and camel coat to keep warm.

I met the gorgeous Rachel from The Insider Daily on the night, check out her blog for fab fashion and beauty.

All black kinda day- black coffee and all black clothes (below).

Oh I do love a new bag! This fab satchel from Zara is big enough to fit my laptop without being overly bulky. Only €50, shop here.

I never get the Dart, so I always miss out on this gorgeous view. Taken at Blackrock dart station.

I am so in love with my oversized bobble hat from Mademoiselle Boutique in Blackrock. It is so soft and cosy.

BARGAIN BEAUTY! I found this gorgeous blush/ bronze duo from Olivia Palermo x Ciate London in TK Maxx for only €12.99! The original price was around €30. This product is gorgeous on, and the shades really suit my colouring. I love when I get a good TK Maxx find! (Still available at ASOS full price)

Oh I do love a black tie situation. You can see all of my outfit details in my full blog post here.

Shoutout to my LuMee light up phone case, that gave us great lighting in a really dark room. Shop here.

Saturdays face! Shop these items here.

Sunday night in with Mindy Kaling and Jo Malone.

So I don’t know how the rest of the year can live up to this month, but I am excited to find out. I have a fun weekend ahead, with catch ups with great friends and my family. You can keep up to date with everything I am up to on my instagram @ginakiely_ and snapchat @ginakiely.

Have a great March, until next time,

Signature 1
