Workout Wear | New You, New Wardrobe

For, what feels like the 1,000th time, I am getting back into the gym and planning for 2016 to be my fittest year… let’s hope it goes that way. I had been slacking in the gym the last couple of months and took December off completely, but now I am motivated to get back into the gym, to clean up my diet and to finally get to my goal weight and fitness level.
Something quite superficial that motivates me, is my workout wardrobe. If I don’t have anything nice to wear I am more likely to skip my whole workout. I know how that sounds, but it is true, if I don’t feel cute I am more likely to get comfortable on the couch.

When undertaking a new challenge, and creating a healthier lifestyle, I think the treat of a new pair of trainers of workout clothes is a great motivator for me. For Christmas Conor got me a pair of Nike Roshe runners and I am in love, I am wearing them everywhere, including the gym. Now I just need to pick up some new tops and bottoms to complete my 2016 gym look. Last year I usually went with an all black look to the gym, but I think this year I would like to add a little more colour and some patterns.

As I mentioned I am now the proud owner of a pair of Nike Roshe, and they are unbelievably comfortable, which is why a couple of pairs are featured in my trainer edit below:

Athleisure is a huge trend for 2016, and it is a slightly more polished look than what you may wear to the gym. These are the type of clothes I like to wear when running errands or on my way to and from the gym.

Fingers crossed a little wardrobe revamp help my motivation and I can achieve my goals in fitness and health.
