It’s Christmas week! How exciting! I haven’t felt very Christmassy just yet, as the last few days in Dublin the temperatures have been about 13 degrees, but today is the shortest day of the year and it is much colder now. I do adore Christmas, and I am sure I will have that really jolly feeling on Christmas eve, when I partake in a couple of annual traditions, such as breakfast in town and drinks with my family. I have been out for a couple of nights out over the last couple of weeks, but being the terrible blogger that I am, I have no photographic evidence, other than my Christmas party.
Last week we had a work Christmas party which was quite small. Myself and three others have our own business, The Link Marketing, and we intended on having a civilised celebration of a great year on Monday night…. intended!
WHAT I WORE:
- Cream roll neck sleeveless top // shop here
- Leather trousers // similar here
- Lace up heeled sandals // similar here
We headed to Featherblade on Dawson street for a steak dinner, my sister Tara had recommended this place to me, and I was totally sold when she mentioned €13 steak! I was not disappointed at all, the Featherblade steak was amazing, so tender and flavourful. The beef dripping chips and truffle mac n cheese were divine and they have prosecco ON TAP! I think I just found a new favourite dinner spot in town.
After dinner we headed to Sam’s bar for a drink and then onto Harcourt street where we ended up in Krystle (for the second time in three days!) We had a great night, and one or two too many, but we were celebrating a great year! En route to Harcourt street I had to take in the gorgeous lights in town, Dublin really does this right.
Happy Christmas week, I hope your feeling jollier than I am, although I am getting there. This will be my second last post of 2015, as I want to take a break over Christmas. Hopefully a short absence will have me inspired and ready to go in 2016!
