Last Tuesday, kicking off Dublin Fashion Festival, I attended the launch of the H&M Autumn/Winter Studio collection at College green, thanks to Stellar magazine.
Dublin was one of the first countries to receive the collection, with it available to purchase about two days before the rest of the world. I asked my favourite gal Greta to join me as we both have very similar taste in fashion and we both love a good H&M bargain.
The event took place in the flagship store at college green, and Greta and I were greeted with champagne on arrival, which is always a great way to start a party. As we walked through the store,we got a closer look at the collection on the rails before we we got to see the clothes in action on the models. Vogue Williams was center of the store on the decks, looking fab as always. Throughout the evening, models would descend the escalators and find their place on a mirror podium, giving shoppers an opportunity to see the clothes in action, how they moved and how they fell.
Seeing as it was a H&M event, I had to whip out my favourite piece for Autumn/ Winter, which is this floor length shaggy fringe waistcoat which I found in H&M last month (with Greta, who wouldn’t let me leave without it).
What I wore:
- H&M waistcoat // similar here
- H&M crop knit // similar here
- River Island cami // shop here
- Zara leather look leggings // similar here
- Zara snake sandals // similar here
- Louis Vuitton speedy // similar here
Mirror moment, the lighting is terrible but you get the general look of our ensembles. Greta was wearing a fab H&M boho chic top which she purchased for Greece, and then I stole her style and got the same thing for Elelctric Picnic…. oops!
Which is your favourite piece from the collection? Let me know in the comments below!
Until next time,
