Last Saturday I was so happy to spend a day with one of my favourite people in one of my favourite places! My friend Edel lives in Donegal throughout the academic year, so when the Summer comes around I always try to meet up with her for a really good catch up.
One of my favourite things about Edel is that we can go months without seeing or speaking, and when we finally do meet up, it is like no time has passed at all. That and she has an amazing personality, hilarious sense of humour and is just a really genuine person. She is also a really supportive girl-friend, and always has encouraging words and advice for me if I am ever feeling nervous or anxious.
I think having friendships like this are really important, it is not the quantity of friends you have, but the quality, and I am very lucky to have such quality friendships in my life. Everyone is so busy these days, and with work and relationships it is important to spend time with people who genuinely have your best interests at heart.

We met in House on Leeson st, as their beer garden has to be one of the best in the country! They have a delicious tapas menu, an extensive cocktail menu, and the staff have never been anything but friendly and helpfull. We spent the day chilling out here, and probably had one drink too many, but we laughed from start to finish.
House of Leeson St. is the perfect place to spend a day like this, the venue is very relaxed while be visually gorgeous. The cocktail menu is extensive and the food is delish! I have zero complaints about it.
