Last Saturday I enjoyed a fabulous and extremely civilised afternoon tea to celebrate to imminent arrival of my friend Siobhan’s baby! Siobhan and I have been friends for years, and I am delighted that she has asked me to be a bridesmaid for her big day next year!
I have to admit that as much as I love babies, I am totally clueless when it comes to what they need, so I stuck with my instincts and gifted her with some beautiful baby clothes.
What I Wore:
Hands up who loves the second filter on snapchat! My tan looks so much better than it actually is in real life.
All of the lovely ladies who lunch. It was so lovely to be a part of Siobhan’s special day and get to spend a fun afternoon with her family and friends. All of Siobhan’s school friends organised the afternoon tea in The Westin and even provided a couple of fun baby games, which I was pretty terrible at to be honest, but we all had a good laugh.
Myself, Siobhan and Naomi, who have all been friends for years. It was great to spend an afternoon with these girls, especially as we don’t get a chance to see each other too often.
How gorgeous was our tiered stand of food for afternoon tea?! I was sharing with Siobhan and we cleared our plates totally with ease, and much quicker than everyone else in the room. I get way too excited about amazing food, so I was really happy to indulge. I also treated myself to a lovely glass of prosecco, which went perfectly with the delicious scones and sweet treats.
Afterwards we headed to no name bar for one drink, which turned into several bottles of wine! I love a good girly day, and I certainly got my fix at this event. Thank you to lovely gals who planned the entire afternoon, it was such a pleasure to spend my Saturday this way.
