Magnum launch at Arnotts | Bespoke Ice Cream

Something delicious has made its way to Arnotts and if you have are in the mood for a real treat you need to head that way ASAP! You cannot miss the new bespoke ice cream bar from Magnum as they have set up shop in the Henry St window, and are open for business for the next seven weeks.

Deborah and I attended the launch evening this Wednesday and got to design our own Magnum from a range of toppings.

You can get really playful with the toppings and go as wild as you want, choosing from sea-salt, chopped nuts, rose petals, chilli flakes and more!

I decided to go with milk chocolate, almonds, marshmallows and rose petals combination, which was topped with a white chocolate swirl. Probably not the most exciting choice, but it was incredibly good and I am looking forward to making my way back to the build-your-own ice cream bar soon.

A small look at my ice cream being put together, it is really great to watch the team at Magnum work their magic and take the task very seriously. As I mentioned above, this is a real treat, and that goes for the price too. A bespoke ice cream will set you back €5 which is obviously more than the usual, but if you go for the experience rather than simply getting an ice cream, it is really worthwhile.

What I enjoyed almost just as much, was eating my ice cream in the shoe garden and taking in the latest trends from brands such as Soludos, Kurt Geiger and Carvela.

Will you be taking a trip into Arnotts for a ‘designer’ ice cream this Summer?
