So it is FINALLY starting to feel like Summer is on its way! March was freezing, even when it was sunny, but I am so excited to break out of my boots and get into ballerinas!
March was a pretty quiet month, not too many nights out, and when I did go out, they were very tame evenings. I did spoil myself with a couple of treats this month which you can see below.
I felt a little strange breaking out the black nail polish, as I have only been wearing nudes and reds for months! This is the Sally Hansen miracle gel polish in Black O, shop here.
LOOK AT THOSE CHEEKS! I was asked to be Godmother to baby Mia, and I posted all about the Christening here.
A dinner out with friends had be break out of my comfort zone, from black leather leggings to mink ones…. ha! You can see all of the outfit details here.
I have been heading back to the gym since February, and there is nothing better than an empty gym! I only wear black to the gym, as I go in the morning I don’t want any options to hold me up. I picked up all of my black leggings, tees, tanks and zippys in Penneys.
We got a new couch this month and is its the ideal location for a nap. The couch is a corner unit and we also got a cuddle chair, which is my new favouirte spot to relax.
One of the best parts of St. Patrick’s Day is, of course, the availability of mint milkshakes. Find my Ray Bans here.
On May 22nd Ireland have the opportunity to vote for marriage equality and I don’t want there to be any question on how I will be voting. I am 100% in favour of all equality, especially marriage equality and will be encouraging as many people as possible to also VOTE YES!
Thursday Treats: I have heard great things about the Inglot HD foundation and I will post a new blog review shortly. I also treated myself to a new lip pencil from MAC in boldly bare, and I LOVE IT! I have recieved so many compliemnts when I have worn it. Here I was trying by best Kylie Jenner impression but I didn’t quite nail it.
We had a beautifully sunny Saturday, although it was still cold enough, hence the scarf. Conor and I headed down to Dun Laoghaire for a walk along the pier and for a Teddy’s ice cream.
I spent a Sunday strolling through Blackrock market browsing for some vintage delights. I didn’t quite find what I was looking for, but fell for this chair. If only I had room for it.
Friday meetings require coffee! My McQ purse is one of my prized possessions, find similar here.
Oh hey Smokey! My favourite black cat <3. I am also so happy to be back in my loafers after a long cold winter in heavy boots. Shop my silver loafers here.
And last but not least, I ended the month, but started my Monday with chocolate strawberries and prosecco at the Maryborough Hotel and Spa in Cork. Read about some of my trip here.
I hope you have a fabulous and stylish March, and I hope April is even better! Thank you for reading,
