Instagood December 2014 |Instagram Addict

With so much happening in December, it felt like such a long month, and a very instagramabale one at that! 2014 was an amazing year, and my first Calendar year of blogging which was really cool (just about a year and 5 months in total now.) Thank you to everyone who has been following my blog, facebook, instagram etc. This blog is simply a hobby but I get so much joy out of it, and have created so many fantastic memories.

So back to Instagram:

I started off my month with a delivery from Photobox! I am an Instagram addict, but I also love to have physical copies of pictures around. I am running out of space to put frames so I may need to start making a couple of photo albums!

For bad hair days there are always fedoras. Shop my boohoo hat here.

and my dark purple lip is 100% vamp from Makeup Revolution, find it here.

Christmas kicked in and my red lipsticks came out. Here I am wearing Kate Moss x Rimmel in shade 110. This mug was up in Conors house, and I couldn’t resist upgrading my usual cup for a festive snowman.

But first, let me take an #ELFIE! As most of you already know I am a crazy cat lady, and I adore cheesy Christmas jumpers. This red sweater from Dunnes ticked all the boxes, and even had a functional bell that jingled as I walked.

It was one of my best pals birthdays this month so a couple of us girls headed to The Dean on Harcourt street for food and cocktails. The hotel is absolutely gorgous, but they seemed really under staffed at the time so I wasn’t in a rush to go back. We enjoyed champagne, chocolate brownies and Christmas selfie props which I found in Topshop.

As much as I love a night out with the girls, nothing beats a Dominos and Netflix night in with Conor. I love a cosy night in, especially in winter when it is just too cold to go out! Now that it’s January, I will have to stay away from Dominos for a couple of weeks to try and get back in shape after letting loose all December.

When that low winter sun makes an appearance, I always have my Ray Ban sunglasses close by. I love the colour combination of my red lips and the blue lenses.

I love when we finally get all of our decorations up for Christmas, the house instantly becomes so much cosier! Smokey the cat particularly likes how the fire is lit almost every night. He has a fascination with the flames and like every cat, loves the heat and just lays out by the fire every chance he gets.

On a girls shopping trip with my mum and both of my sisters, we stopped for lunch in Beeftro on Balfe street and enjoyed a delicious steak lunch. This was my first time here, but they do a great lunch time special, all of this was €9.99! Great value and really delicious food.

On this shopping trip I treated myself to a black beanie with a feather pom from River Island. At the time it was raining and I wanted to keep my hair dry, and I have not stopped wearing it really. It is so warm and cosy and I think it is super chic, find it here.

I finally got around to posting my review on the 32 shade Flawless palette from Makeup Revolution. You can read my review here.

On Black Friday I was purchasing a lot of my Christmas presents for family and friends and I decided to treat myself to this beautiful camel coat from Missguided. You can see my full outfit post here.

Smokey hates his new bowtie, and it actually trying to eat it in the picture, but I could not resist buying this festive cat tie.

MACAROONS!!!! My favourite treats. My secret santa from work found out I have a serious weakness for Laduree. I collect some of the boxes too, and this one is particularly cool with a winking eye on the front.

In preparation for Christmas, I headed back to Saphora in Dundrum and had my colour updated. I am still a brunette, but there is a hell of a lot of blonde going through my hair. You can read my post of my last visit to Saphora here.

On Christmas week Conor’s brother David got married, and you can read my post on what I wore here.

Conor’s family have an annual tradition of visiting Bewleys on Grafton street from breakfast Christmas eve. This is the second year that I have joined them, and both years it has been an amazing way to kick off Christmas. As you can see, it is decorated beautifully and the breakfast is always delicious.

Christmas day in my house involved Selfie props, selfie sticks and tormenting Smokey the cat with a little Christmas cape. We only left it on him for about 2 minutes as he acted like the cape was made of lead!

I received a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in my stocking called So Marilyn, and wore it with my ASOS faux fur jacket.

Conors parents always getting me the sweetest gifts, and this year it was a Jo Malone candle in my favourite scent: English Pear and Freesia. Find it here.

I have had so many pajama days over Christmas, staying in bed, working on my blog, catching up on magazines and drinking endless amounts of coffee.

From where I stand: I am obsessed with my new faux fur pom from Custom Vintage Dublin.

Meet Mia, my God Daughter <3! My cousin Damien and his wife just had twins, and asked me to be the God Mother of Mia, the sweetest little princess. She is my first God Child, so I feel really special to have been asked.

My everyday make up essentials: read everything I used here.

And my final insta of 2014, what I wore on New Years Eve. What did you do NYE?

Thank you for reading.
