Electric Picnic Festival Fashion | What I Wore

As you may know I ventured off to Electric Picnic festival this year and had an AMAZING TIME! Not only was it a fun festival weekend, it was also my birthday which made it extra special!

As much as I can be a little high maintenance at times, I refrained from bringing a full length mirror for selfies, so I have recreated my outfits below, and included some pics from the weekend.

DAY 3:

I accessorized with two sets of stacking rings from H&M.

I have had this felt hat from H&M since last winter // Similar here

I found this black & white crossbody bag in TK Maxx // Similar here

What would a festival be without bright friendship bracelets and bangles?! I also accessorized with these metallic gold & silver temporary tattoos which were really fun 🙂 Shop here

All weekend I wore my Hunter wellies while the ground was muddy (shop here) and my New Look white ankle boots (similar here) on sunnier days.

I kept my make up pretty simple, relying on black liner and nude lips for most of the weekend. The products I brought to Electric Picnic include:

My sister’s friend Clarissa painted my face for my birthday in this really cool gold and black leopard print design. I absolutely loved it, and there are so few times you can get away with have face paint, so I jumped at the opportunity.

Day 1, my sister’s snapchat pic of me as I was excited to head off!

Over the Summer I got this free pair of sunglasses with Tatler magazine and they were PERFECT for the weekend. Even though I came home with them in one piece, I know if I brought an expensive pair of sunnies, I 100% would have lost or broken them!!! Even though they were freebies in a magazine, I actually wear them all the time anyway, they are the only pair of tortoise brown sunglasses I have, and the oversized cat eye shape really suits my face…. at least I think so 😉 .

This picture is from my birthday when all the guys brought me to the Prosecco bar… so spoiled! After a weekend of beer drinking (which is not my usual beverage) Prosecco never tasted so good! I love that Electric Picnic is not the usual festival, and there are some amazing places to eat such as Saba, not your usual burger and chips.

My home for 3 days! The room to the left of the tent was my little area and it was actually perfect! I think it is intended for 2 people, but between my bag, clothes and sleeping bag it was cosy enough. For one morning I did share my space with a tiny frog, which was unintentional on my behalf, but I suppose you that’s what can happen camping. The Frog was guided out of the tent and hopped along about his business.

As you can see I packed some items that I could wear more than once, such as the H&M snake print blouse/ dress, Levis shorts and my trusty leather jacket. Packing is pretty tough for a festival so I brought items that I could mix and match for the 3 days. On the final day when we had to leave I wore a pair of black skinny jeans and a black & white long sleeve tee, I needed something comfortable for the journey back to Dublin.

Who else was at Electric Picnic, and what did you pack???

Thank you for reading,

I obviously LIVE in my leather jacket, but I have been shopping around for a new one, see my favourites here.
