I cannot believe it is June already!!! I had a great month for May, it really started to feel like Summer in Dublin.
One thing I love about doing my monthly instagram round ups is that it really makes me appreciate how much (or how little) I can achieve in a certain amount of time. I am really happy with how I spent this month as I managed to catch up with loads of friends and have some really days and nights around Dublin.
I started the month with the purchase of not one, but two clutches from Penneys. They were €11 each so I couldn’t resist!! Get the details here. I am heading away on holidays later in the month and both of these clutches will be coming with me!
Conor and I spent a great day out in Howth over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The weather was gorgeous and there was a really nice atmosphere all around the town.
All I will say is this is not my cat….yet! #CrazyCatLady
It wouldn’t be an Instagram round-up without a picture of some Macaroons 😛
Last Summer I looked like an idiot lounging by the pool and hysterically laughing to myself as I read the book “White Girl Problems”, so naturally I pre-ordered the sequel “Psychos”. If you are looking for a light summer read with humour, fashion and terrible relationship/ life advice, these books are for you! I’m obsessed!
I love a good reunion and this month I had a little gathering with some of my friends that ive known for about 8 years now. We don’t necessarily see each other all that often (we try at least once a year when possible) but when we do see each other it’s like no time has passed at all! I enjoyed several delicious Mojitos ,and this outfit, except white jeans instead of the skirt!
My hangover day was spent with needles, thread, scissors and every pair of denim shorts I could get my hands on. I love distressing denim and I wanted to update some of my shorts for my up coming holidays. Check out a DIY post here for embellishing shorts.
One of my favourite looks from this month. All of the details can be found here.
Bringing a little bit of colour to my work day with my bright yellow Zara blazer. Bought this jacket about 2 years ago and I am still obsessed with it.
New shoes from Dunnes (only €10!!!!) and sporting Essie Aruba Blue polish.
SOOO HAPPY with my new black wedges; details here.
A really tough part of my job is trying on diamonds… ha yeah right! This gorgeous ring arrived in this week and I am obsessed! Visit ESL Jewellery for more information.
I have been working out and dieting all month and felt great, but then I spent an entire weekend with Conor and all my progress went out the door… OH WELL! This was just one of the delicious meals that we enjoyed last weekend, and I regret nothing!
My recent post “Back to black (and white)” was posted in May and I was so happy to re-discover these black Jimmy Choo shoes. I like to keep my good shoes in boxes on a shelf and the saying really is true “out of sight, out of mind”, as I had completely forgotten that I even owned this pair of shoes.
My favourite nail polish colour is blue, I don’t know why! And this particular shade from H&M called Blue My Mind is an all time love of mine.
Last week I had a girly dinner and drinks catch up in 37 Dawson street. The food was amazing and I got to spend a little bit of time with my friend Niki before she moves to Dubai next month.
I cannot believe it is June already!
Hope you all had a great month 🙂
