2014 is really flying in for me! I cannot believe it is already SUMMER! April was a great month, I saw a lot of sun which was a little surprising, found some fabulous bargains and enjoyed my first Teddy’s ice cream of the year (that is a BIG DEAL ha)
Here are some of my highlights which I saw Instagram worthy. If you are on Instagram you can follow me @GinaKiely1 🙂
I tried to start my month off right; rather than snacking on sweets and crisps I have been enjoying fresh fruit and green tea.
I made my first ever eBay purchase this month, a snake print and neon yellow Marc by Marc Jacobs laptop case. (my first of several, I have a new platform to serve my online shopping addiction).
I love having bright and beautiful flowers around the house, and Daffodils are the prettiest sign that Spring is here.
REPEAT OFFENDER!!! I wore this outfit in February (see here) but I just loved it so much that I couldn’t resist giving it another outing.
OBSESSED with my new bandage bikini from H&M which was a total bargain (see more here). Now all I need is a sunny beach!
Introducing the humble beginning of my makeup organisers. I upgraded my make up bags to acrylic drawers from Muji and Amazon, see more here.
I refreshed my hair this month with a DIY Balayage colour at home. Read my step by step guide here.
I have not been getting all that much wear out of my beautiful Christian Louboutin Pigalle shoes, but I still like to look at them and wear them around my room from time to time. They were made to be loved.
YUM! I baked some insanely delicious brownies this month, using the incredibly simple Boutique Bake mix. Read my step by step here.
The perfect hangover cure, a Saturday spent up along Killiney hill and Dalkey. The fresh air and beautiful views made my day.
YUM! To try to curb my chocolate cravings I have been munching on dark chocolate. I can enjoy a couple of squares and then put the rest away having had my sugar hit. This particular bar, a touch of salt, is delicious.
More food shots; this time a lunchtime treat from Marks and Spencer with Sushi bites.
When I am working in town, I like to take lunchtime strolls through St Stephen’s green and appreciate the greenery and wildlife, but to be honest the birds actually scare the ….. out of me. They look so pretty but they are so unpredictable and I always fear they will shit on me, is that a normal fear?
I like to borrow my sister’s yellow Zara jumper to brighten my day. One of the biggest advantages to having two fashionable sisters, also they’re really funny.
I was absolutely delighted with my W7 make up, read my review on this Urban Decay dupe here.
My first Teddy’s Ice cream of the year. For those of you who do not know, Teddy’s ice cream at Dun Laoghaire pier in Dublin is the BEST ice cream in the country! (possibly the world) Apart from the fact that the Ice cream is perfect, the location aint half bad either. I enjoyed a relaxing stroll and a catch up with my friend Siobhan on a really sunny afternoon along the East pier.
One of my favourite lipsticks, YSL rouge pur number 19 which is a fucshia pink. Check out my reviews on this pink lipstick and more here.
❤ I have a weakness for Laduree Macaroons. I probably frequent that counter in Brown Thomas in Dublin a little too often! Conor really loves the vanilla so that’s why there are two of those… the Vanilla are great but I am a chocolate and raspberry girl!
A beautiful Cherry Blossom tree by my house. I love the colours and how it looked as though it was snowing pink petals.
An instagram snap from this outfit post.
