After a month of Fashion Weeks I have been left craving so much luxury fashion, and for the mean time the closest I will get to these pieces is by dropping into Brown Thomas for a browse.
First on my luxury lust list is the amazing blanket poncho which each model donned for the finale of the Burberry show. I love a good blanket, and seeing as I live in Ireland where there is always the necessity for another layer or two, this blanket would be the chicest way of staying warm during our unreliable months.
The bonus of this blanket is that you can get it monogrammed, just like Caras on the London Fashion Week runway. The downside of this blanket is the price tag; €1,050 and that is a little bit more than I usually spend on blankets!
These heels were spotted on feet of every fashion blogger, editor and buyer across every fashion week. These shoes have been a huge trend for a while now and they are not going away any time soon. These shoes have become even more accessible now, since Brown Thomas have launched an online store! This particular style is the higher heel and the colour combination of fuchsia pink and nude leather makes gives the shoes a feminine edge, which is completely contrasted by the studs and punk styling.
Truly a beautiful and stylish shoe, with a price tag to match at €670.
If you plan on heading to a Winter fashion week one thing is clear, you will need a statement coat. Your outer layers are just as important as the finer details and a great coat can really make or break your ensemble. This coat in particular screamed at me as it is leopard print, a personal love of mine. What I love about fashion week is that you get to see some women really mix things up with their prints, and suddenly wearing leopard print alone is not enough, it also needs a touch of tartan, or a beautiful floral print. If I had this coat I would wear it with just about anything.
Find this piece at Net-A-Porter for €825
Until I win the lottery I will have to hunt for some more affordable alternatives, but a girl can still dream.
