Valentines date

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s day! Conor and I decided to have a Valentine’s date a couple of days after the 14th and headed to one of our favourite restaurants in Dun Laoghaire: Hartley’s.

It actually worked out really well, as we decided to stay in The Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire in a beautiful room, and were in walking distance of the restaurant. This meant we could enjoy a couple of glasses of wine without worrying about taxis.

Make up:

I went for a bold black liner on my eye, using Rimmel’s new Scadaleyes precision eyeliner.

I kept my lips simple with my favourite nude lipstick by Rimmel, nude delight.

What I Wore:

If you read my post from Christmas you may recognise this wine top from Zara (similar here)

I love a fun skirt and I adore this feathering fringe skirt from H&M that my sister bought me a couple of years ago (similar here)

I am getting amazing use out of the statement necklace that I bought on Etsy, find it here.

I picked up this fabulous eye purse from Lulu Guinness in the Harvey Nichols sale last month (similar here)

My beautiful Christian Louboutin Pigalles, find them here.

We had a fantastic night in Hartley’s and I ordered the surf and turf which was so delicious. The steak was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, while the prawns were some of the biggest I have ever eaten. We also shared a hot chocolate sundae, but I was far too excited when it arrived to take a picture and just dived right in. I completely over indulged on the meal, and possibly the wine, but it was totally worth it.
