Last week I attended a charity event in Bewleys Hotel Ballsbridge in aid of Temple street children’s hospital, with my boyfriend and friends. This is for an amazing cause and if you would like to make a donation to the charity, you can do so here.
The first step of getting ready was HAIR:
My sister uses heated rollers all the time and her hair is AMAZING, so I gave it a go myself. I got a great result but as it was my first time using heated rollers the results were not as even as I would like. I went over my hair using a GHD to put soft curls in my hair.
The second step was make up:
HD Brow palette in Bombshell
A custom Inglot palette for the eyeshadow. I am not sure of the exact colors as it is my sisters palette but there were some browns, coppers and cranberry shades.
I didn’t have the funds to purchase a new gown, but I am lucky that both my sisters are dress obsessed with long dresses and have an enviable collection. The only issue for me is to find one that actually fits me (they are both incredibly slim and it drives me CRAZY)
My sister Tara had this sleek black number in her closet from her graduation ball last here and I just LOVED how slim and tall it made me appear. Got to love a long black dress.
Conor looked dapper as usual, in his Zara check jacket and black bow tie.
I had an amazing night and love the opportunity to get really dolled up from time to time.
