DIY Face Mask

As a huge fan of Jessica Alba, I was delighted to hear that she treats herself to a DIY face mask using ingredients sitting in my kitchen. With all of the chemicals I put on my skin between creams, make up and cleansers, it is refreshing to put natural and nourishing ingredients on my skin.

This mask was so easy to make:

1/2 a cup of greek yogurt

a tablespoon of ground coffee

A teaspoon of lemon juice

Jessica usually opts for a tablespoon of coconut oil when her skin is dry, I opted for the lemon juice instead as it is a natural cleanser and my skin was not dry.

It took less than five minutes for me to create the mask and I let it sit on my skin for about 20 minutes before washing it off with an Eve Lom muslin cloth.

The results:

My skin felt cleansed and refreshed, much more so compared to my usual cleanse. I did notice a glow from my skin, which had probably become dull over the winter months.

This will become a usual treatment for me as it is super easy to do at home and I love how my skin felt afterwards.

Do you have a DIY skin treatment?
