Beauty haul part 1

As mentioned in my recent post “DIY Balayage“, I get really excited when I visit the cosmetic area of Walmart and a recent visit I made was particularly fruitful.

  • L’oreal Youth Code Day Lotion: One thing I need everyday in Vegas is a good SPF, I had been using Ole Henrikson, but when that ran out I decided to try this Loreal cream. This is an oil free lotion that moisturises the skin and reduces lines and signs of ageing. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and my skin is soft and evenly moisturised throughout theday. I havnt noticed any major difference in terms of lines or signs of ageing but the texture and tone of my skin is even.

  • L’oreal Revitalift Eye Cream: I have been using this eye cream for a couple of months, I do not have many lines around my eyes at the moment, so I am hoping that the use of an anti wrinkle cream now will help prevent lines later. This is a light weight cream that I feel really nourishes the skin around my eyes. I really see it work wonders when I have not had a full night sleeps, or a couple of drinks the night before. Usually my eyes would by puffy and red, but with this cream they are refreshed and more awake looking.

  • Salon Perfect Eyelashes: this is a four pack of really natural looking lashes. I much prefer this look compared to over the top lashes that can reach your eyebrows and look like spider legs. These lashes are really light weight and do not irritate the eye, which for me can be a very sensitive area. I love the effect these lashes give, as they just enhance the eye area instead of creating an over the top look.
