As mentioned in my recent post “Blue for Brunch” I did a little bit of shopping recently which is always such a treat. I am about to move back to Ireland permanently so I can’t buy too much stuff between now and then as I have no idea how I am going to bring it all home (STRESS). I was stopping by Target and I had a small browse and I found two items of clothing that I had to take home with me, plus a couple of cosmetics.
It is only now that I checked for the skirt online that I realise I may have shopped in the juniors section… Oh well (#YoungatHeart). I love this fit and flare style skirt but have been obsessing over them since I saw a post by Fashion Hippie Loves (see it here)
Skirt available at Target.
Blouse available at TargetI did not make it into Target the day the Phillip Lim collection dropped so I was not surprised that most of the pieces that I loved were already sold out, however I did find this one cream ruffle blouse that I love!
Now onto cosmetics. I love heading to the ELF counter at Target as it is completely guilt free make up shopping (items range from $1-$5)
I have never tried ELF brushes before but when they are $1-$3 dollars, what not? The two I picked up are actually fabulous so I think I will be heading back for more soon!
I went with Rich Red and Natural.I LOVE lipsticks and really need to wear colour on my lips more, but with brighter colours come a high maintenance aspect (needing the lip liner and the lipstick with you at all times, watching your lips when you eat etc….) so I decided to try out the Matte Lip Color crayon as you don’t really need a liner to go with it, and a matte lip is more suitable for an everyday look.
I love both of these colours and will be wearing them a lot!
As I am waiting in line to pay for my fashion finds I spot the EOS lip balms and had to pick up the sweet mint. My lips have been a little bit dry lately due to the weather so this little lip balm is coming everywhere with me.
All in all my total at the till came to about $60 so I think this was a very successful trip to Target!
