Blue for Brunch

If you read my recent post “The birthday that never ends” you may have spotted a blue and white icat print skirt from Penneys (Primark) sent to me from my family for my birthday. This skater skirt is so cute and I love the print so when we had a nice and sunny sunday in Las Vegas I decided to put it together with some classic pieces from my wardrobe.

I was heading for a pancake brunch which was followed by a little bit of shopping so I wanted to be really comfortable.

I kept my make up pretty simple, with nudes and browns from my Naked 2 palette on my eyes.

I lined my eyes with my Rimmel pencil liner so the look was a little less dramatic compared to a liquid or gel liner.

My mascara is Benefit “They’re Real” which I got as a sample from Sephora, but I think I may be converted now, this mascara does not clump and gives great volume and length.

Another Benefit sample I received from Sephora was their “watts up” highlighter which I am wearing above my cheeks and on my nose. I love this creamy highlighter.

My lipsticks is by Kate Moss for Rimmel number 14

A bit of a closer look at my (super comfortable) snake print wedges from Penneys (about a year old now, maybe even older)
